Train operating hours changed for summer holiday

The Vietnam Railways Corporation announced that the operating hours of Thong Nhat train service has been adjusted starting May 15th to meet tourists' demand.

The daily SE1 and SE3 trains start from Hanoi at 10.20 pm and 7.30 pm respectively.

The SE2 and SE4 trains start from HCM City at 9.55 pm and 7.45 pm respectively.

These are the modern models and passengers will be served free meals.

Dozens of trips have also been scheduled for the peak of Summer holiday season.

Two more trains will be added to the trips between Nha Trang and Hue City, Nha Trang and HCM City, HCM City and Quang Ngai, Hanoi and HCM City, and Hanoi and Vinh City.

Starting from June 3, the NA3 train from Hanoi to Vinh will run every Thursday and Friday and the NA4 from Vinh to Hanoi will run every Sunday.

Hanoi-Dong Hoi City route will also have two more trains running from May 24th and two other trains will run from June 6th and June 7th respectively.

The two additional trains for the Hanoi-Danang City route will also start from June 6th and June 7th respectively.

The ticket prices will be reduced for students, tourism firms belonging to the tourism stimulus programme of 2018 and the beneficiaries of social policies.

A group of over 20 passengers will also have their ticket prices reduced by 3-7%.
